Things that we'd love

First off... barring a devastating fire, we're a little old to be in desperate need of household goods, and we realize that most people in our lives aren't in any financial shape to be giving gifts. We really don't need them- we are SO excited to have you come to the wedding! That is plenty gift enough- seriously!

However:

My relatives are suggesting that people WILL give gifts and that it would be helpful to have an idea of things that we like, don't like, and things we could and couldn't use.

The list, and Kimric will add things that he thinks of:

Labor:

Really, this is the big one at the moment. Driving up (or over) to help us for a couple hours prepping food or decorations in the days running up to the wedding would be a godsend. We aren't sure where all the prep will be- it'll likely be split between Richmond, Petaluma and Sebastopol though.

Also: Help setting up and breaking down on the day of the wedding, allowing Kimric & I to escape to Santa Cruz for a couple of days would be excellent as well. Schlepping things into and out of the park will be the main part.

Later on in the year: help with house maintenance- we're thinking of laying down a brick driveway, for instance, and labor would be very helpful.

Handmade Stuff:
- If you make things- we like that!

Gift Certificates:
-We use Lotus Natural Cleaning. Gift certificates towards a thorough housecleaning would be very appreciated!
* ETSY gift cards
* Grocery Outlet gift cards
* Discount Fabric gift cards

Stuff stuff:
- Plasma cutter (It doesn't hurt to ask, right?)
- Welder? (Kimric- what kind?)
- Hawaiian Shave Ice machine (not a snow cone machine) Here's a high end one, but that's not necessary.
- Fold up lounge chairs for laying around the back yard reading. They need to be able to fold up.
- Pretty, floral Victorian tea cups. One at a time is fine. Non-matching is great. Here are a couple that I like, just to give you a flavor. Ok, that was more than a couple. I got a little carried away.
-Lomonosov Cobalt Net dishes (not the bone china versions- just the regular kind). I have half a set right now, and a nice teapot and creamer. They're pricey, though. I will check what we have- I think we have 6 dinner plates and 6 teacups and saucers already, and 3 smaller plates, and 3 of those wide, shallow soup bowls, which I see someone on ebay is calling a "rare, raised dinner plate."
- Charcoal BBQ grill (aka Webber), (especially an enamelled, old-school style grill if they still exist)
- rose oil
- good kitchen knife or knives
-Arduino kits
- PRETTY security door for our front door
-pitchfork-NEVERMIND! GOT ONE!
- food, of the non-immediately perishable sort (scotch, olive oil, etc)
- kayak (ask for specs if you're interested in this one)
- liliko'i or passionfruit plant
- Rolling tool chest
